FILIGREE

With origins in Karimnagar, Telangana, and a favourite of the Nizams of Hyderabad, this metal-smithing skill has been making objects of indulgence and beauty for many hundred years. 

In our revival, this beautiful handmade filigree finds expression in the forms of dragonflies, lotus, and the moon. 

Crafted by our in-house Shilpa Guru, the last of a generation of master craftsmen, the design house of the Jewelry Project creates these museum-worthy heirloom pieces - resplendent of the time of the magic of the handmade in the craft.
